UnusualAntiqueSilver Star Design Thimble Germany/Scandinavia* Circa early-mid 1900s This solidsilverthimble has a very unusual knurling design, consisting of stars andtriangles. The top uses little triangles to form a flower like pattern.I've not seen this one before. It is stamped "835S" whichmeans it is 835/1000 pure silver. This mark is either German orScandinavian, though I lean toward Germany. It also has an importsilver mark for the Netherlands us...ed from 1906-1953 Theconditionis excellent, crisp with no holes, dents or other damage.It'sabout an American size 8 (15.1 mm diameter opening).
