Thisis an old American Indian/Native American woman’s garment that a relative in Oklahomagave me years ago. I don’t know anythingabout its background or its actual age. I think that is made of some variety of hide. It is a soft light-tan leather. For a sense of its size, the woman holding itis 5’ 3” tall. The garment weighs 3pounds 12 ounces. From shoulder seam toshoulder seam it is 21 inches. From theneck to the bottom center is 33 inch...es. It has some staining/splotches. Insideon front and back it has “42461” written in faded marker. I took some photos of the inside seams and patching. I also took a few close-ups of the beadwork.
