Original Description:
Stunning early 1900's Navajo Ganado Rug. Measures 25 1/2" by 51". Pattern includes a red linear border enclosing nine rows containing pairs of concentric diamonds that flank a vertical band of eight hexagon figures. Colors are variegated browns with red, and yellow on a beige field. Also, the two diamonds in the center row are colored differently from the other pairs. Rug could use a cleaning.  Several small stains. Gum remains are visible on one side of rug. Very slight signs of ...bleeding seen on one side. Two of the diamonds have pin sized holes on the outside border, one having smaller damage than the other. Selvage is intact. Tassles are mostly worn away. One small area of loose weaving. One side of rug appears better than the other. See photos for further details. Measures 25 1/2" by 51". Great colors. Nice weaving.
