This wonderful antique wooden toy ship is about 2 3/8" long and it is marked "Made in Japan"(faintly) underneath. The bright blue toy boat is sturdy and well made with good detail and it was found with with other Christmas layout toys and figures. The toy boat has some wear and a patina of age but over all it is in excellent original condition. It still has its thread rigging and 3 tiny paper allied flags. My best guess as to age is ca. 1930s. Decorative and very unusual!
