This is a stunning sterling silver pendant medal that once belonged to one of our priests. It has lovely depth and detailing.REPRESENTATIONThe front of the medal is a raised image of St.Christopher holding the Child Jesus.  It has rich detailing with diamond cuts and the words embossed "St Christopher Protect Us" around the border.The reverse is blank.COMPOSITION and SIZESterling silver metal and measures 1" in diameter.  It comes with a 24" silv...er continuous chain that is not sterling.AGE1930-1950MARKINGSThere are two markings on the back - "STERLING" and "AVANTI".CONDITIONIt has been lovingly used and could be cleaned. Very good vintage with fine patina and minimal scratching.
