It is made of an off white ecru color heavy quality linen fabric, with raised padded satin stitch and French knot hand embroidered floral leaf accents. This wonderful women's walking suit includes a long floor length duster coat jacket, with an embroidered scalloped edge fold over wide... lapel sailor collar, two large embroidered patch pockets, long full sleeves with embroidered rolled cuffs, two large mother of pearl buttons along the side for closure and is unlined. The coat measures 54 inches long, with a 40 inch bust, 44 inch waist, 52 inch hips, 25 inch long sleeves and 15 inch back. There is a matching fabric embroidered bottom front long floor length full skirt with an elastic gathered waistband, large snaps on back for closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 39 inches long, with an adjustable 22-32 inch waist and 66 inch hips. This quality made walking suit would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in excellent condition.
