This wonderful hand carved, working, whistling hobo drunk man leaning on a lamp post from Schwarzwald (Black Forest) Germany was made by Karl Greisbaum. Company logo is on the back of the base (see photos). The man whistles and shakes his head back and forth by wind up key. There are spaces for the battery that lights up the lamp post (batteries not included). It measures approx.:19"H. It weighs almost three pounds. The coloring and carving are excellent. The whistling mecha...nism is in working order and works well. He is one of the first 100 ever made (#60).
