Old Antique Vtg 19th C 1850s Tiny Miniature 3 " Single Finger Pantry Lap Box

This offering is for an antique mid 19th century tiny wooden pantry box. The box measures app. 3 1/8" in diameter and 1.75" in height. The box features maple sides with pine for the top and bottom. The sides are constructed with a single finger lap joint held in place with tiny copper tacks. There are some black printed stamped markings on the lid but I can't make out what it says. The condition is very nice with minor wear, a great mellow surface with a great patina. There is a small ...thin piece gone from the bottom end of the lid that is about 1/32" tapering to nothing by 1.5" and a small piece of wood is missing from the bottom at a nail as seen in our photo's. Otherwise there are no cracks, breaks or repairs. This box is from my collection, I purchased a stack of three miniatures years ago and am listing them tonight for the first time, please see our other listings for the other two boxes. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 7.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
