I have for sale and WITHOUT RESERVE, this very nice full sized Moe Bridges arts and crafts style reverse painted lamp. This is a great lamp folks, a great lamp and Moe Bridges did fabulous stuff such as this landscape and bird scene. Please look ...at the first four pictures. Four completely different scenes. Not three, but four lol, which means you have four choices for you to display whatever focal point you desire. That goes to show how much work went into this lamp shade and its on Moe Bridges base that i have never seen before. And i have seen a lot of moe bridges lamps in my 25 years of buying, collecting, and selling. A very unique and cool base for sure. The shade has been restored by a professional i use in Manhattan and is very sturdy and will be around for another 100 years. Its period 1905-1925 and not a reproduction. The Moe Bridges base recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. No dents, dings, nor damage of any sort. The base is in fine working order also.The exterior of the shade acid etched shade which only the better makers of the 1905-1925 period did. A very very warm look perfect for an arts and crafts style room or home. Perfect for a Stickley or Limbert table or something similar. This is a full sized Moe Bridges reverse painted coming in at 23 inches tall with the shade being 18 inches wide. The paint vibrant and alive and without losses and will light up any room its in for sure. Again this lamp is SELLING WITHOUT RESERVE. Bidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2, 000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with.
