Vintage 1960s "It's High Time For Hires" ROOT BEER Light **PRIVATE**DO_NOT_BUY**

Item is in great vintage condition, no major problems that I can see. The only real defect I see is a hairline scratch on the front brown paint right under the Hires "H" and next to the Root "R". Please see photos.
I'm guessing it's from the 1960s..., compared to other similar signs on eBay - but it's just a guess. I don't see a date anywhere. But one clue about this sign, perhaps, is the 7724 number in the bottom corner. Not sure what that means, but you collectors out there might?
It's very lightweight metal and plastic, weighing about 1.5 pounds, able to be hung on most any wall. It measures approximately 15" x 6" x 4".
One word of caution - I only had this sign turned on for a few minutes to test and take photos, and the metal got pretty hot! You may wish to investigate a lower wattage bulb, or a newfangled LED or somesuch.
