Description: Up for sale is this very unusual and interesting French accent lamp. Made late 19th or early 20th century the body of the lamp is pate-sur-pate porcelain which was a style with a low relief design carved in slip and applied to a contrasting color. In this case we have a low relief of white morning glories on two sides contrasting with a blue-green porcelain. Base and trim are gilt bronze in the Eastlake style of design. Very attractive floral and geometric patterns. The s...hade I do not believe is period but probably added mid 20th century. It is a very unusual piece of art glass with clear tear drops at the bottom. Frosted glass and bent edges at the top. Creates a very intersting design and looks great when lite.
