This vintage Halloween Postcard from Stecher Lith. Co, Rochester, NY, Series 90 B, shows a boy kicking a black cat with the word"Halloween" on the front. Back of the card has a lot of writing onit, but -- this is interesting -- it's dated Oct. 27, 1918, andwritten from a child to a grandmother about the ongoing flu epidemic. The child writes that "the flu is not so terrible down here, therehave not been any new cases here since Monday." The child goes on tomention that "all the sc...hools and churches have been closed for 2weeks but they gave me enough work to do at home." A reallyinteresting piece of history, considering the times we are living innow!Although the back is written on, the front of the card is in good condition. Please refer to pictures to help determine the condition of this item to your satisfaction.
