This is listing is for a circa 1890s French Limoges porcelain fish serving platter or tray. The large oval platter measures 10 by 24 inches or 25.4 by 61 cm. It is all hand painted with a large underwater scene. It shows a large fish among the underwater foliage, and yellow lily flowers among the cool blue waters. The platter has a ruffled scalloped edge, and a raised beaded border in the porcelain and further accented with heavy applied gold highlights on the edges. It has excellent ...attention to detail throughout. It is marked on back "LIMOGES FRANCE". The tray is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
