Good Luck!! 486 488 390 384SHIPPING DISCLOSURE I have tried my best to keep shipping cost low but therates just keep getting higher and higher. I ship using the U. S Postal Serviceas I find them the safest shipper. The shipping cost to the Midwest and farwest is so much more than what I have to deal with here in the Northeast. Ihave struggled with doing this as I didn't want to lose my bidders/buyers westof me but it just adds up to too much money in the long run. Please understand I do this very reluctantly, as such, I am adding 20% to anything being shipped to zip codes that begin withthe number 5, 6 or 7 and 33% to anythingbeing shipped to zip codes 8 and 9. Example $40.00 regular shipping cost to zipcode that begin with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 is just that $40.00. Zip codes that begin with 5, 6 or 7 would be $40.00times 20% which equals $8.00 which is added to the $40.00 and becomes $48.00. Zip codes that begin with 8 or 9 would be $40.00times 33% which is $13.20 which then becomes $53.20. Your invoice will beadjusted to your zip code. I double box the shade and ship the base separately. Please consider this when you are bidding and thanks for understanding.
TO ALLPOTENTIAL BUYERSBiddersplease remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree ofexpectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minorimperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. These items arecommensurate with age, meaning they are old. Chances are if therearen't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In otherwords, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don'twant to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn'tperfect on a 2, 000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towardscondition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issuessuch as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antiquedealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That beingsaid, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you wantperfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another Ebay seller'sproduct. Ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yetI'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to dobusiness with. Thanks for your understanding.
