One vintage silver gelatin contact print on thin white photo paper measuring 4" x 5". Shows Main St. on Mackinac Island, Michigan looking towards the Fort. Not identified or dated but this street on the island is easily recognizable. This photo came out of the locally famous Harr family estate auction in Troy, Ohio about 35 years ago. It has been in my collection since then and is guaranteed too be old and original. The Harr's were a wealthy family who owned a large department sto...re on the city square in Troy for years. William Harr was an avid photographer who documented the families many trips and travels and developed many of his own photos. This is one of them. Found with a few other travel photos in an old fragile, crumbling, cellophane type envelope with developing notations and dates from the late 1890's. I've provided a close-up that shows Bogan's Drug Store and other details. The dark line across the bottom is just a developing mark/line. See more details and conditions above. We ship 2 times a week. Stay tuned to my auctions. After a lifetime of collecting all sorts of antiques and collectibles the wife says we need start thinning the collection before we end up on an episode of "Hoarder's". I'm finding boxes of stuff I forgot we bought years ago.
