Vintage *RUNNING* 6 jewel NORMIS 8 day car or travel clock. I have wound it and had it running for the last few hours and is currently keeping time.
The case measures about 66mm diameter, and movement is marked "Normis Watch Co.", "6 Six Jewels", "Swiss", 2 Two adjustments", "Patent Depose" and serial number "421950".
Now, for the DISCLAIMER....Though the clock is currently running, it is being sold as-is. It comes from an old watchmaker's estate, and I have no idea wh...en it was last cleaned or oiled. With that said, please take this into consideration what the cost may be to have the watch properly serviced by a professional watchmaker before placing your bid.
As I stated, the clock is currently running, but I can not guarantee it's continued function after it leaves the post office.
With all that said, this clock is being sold AS-IS; NO RETURNS. Too many bad things have happened with previous returns; i.e. stolen or swapped out parts, broken merchandise, and even returning a totally different item! Again, please take these things into consideration BEFORE placing your bid.
