3" Glass Dome Paperweight WILL ROGERS SHRINEColorado Springs (c. 1940s)
This listing is for a vintage glass dome paperweight showing the historic "Will Rogers Shrine" at Colorado Springs, CO, built in 1937. The paperweight measures 3 inches wide across the base and is about 1.5 inches thick. It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, or heavy scuffs or wear. There are some faint impurities in the glass, including one visible crease or uneven spot in the glass (I don't th...ink it's a ding or crack, but is original to manufacture), visible over the "C" of Cheyenne (see closeup photo with red arrow). The image shows nicely, with rich colors. (Note the paperweight stand is not included!)
