RARE - Antique Primitive 1800's Stoneware Butter Crock with the Original Lid. Unusual White Color, with just a tough on a gray hue. The know on the lid is marked 20. I'm not sure if that is for 20 ounces, or a maker's mark. This beautiful little crock holds 1 pound of butter perfectly.Excellent Condition: Some wear, but no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. A very unusual addition to any quality stoneware, primitive, farm or cabin collection. Measures: 2 3/4" Tall x 5"... Wide So rare to still have the lid. My family has owned this still working farm & dairy in central Virginia for over 240 years. We're selling some of our antiques, primitives, collectibles, etc. to help raise a bit of money with the costs of renovating / preserving the original 1742 house and out buildings. I've attached a couple pictures. ALWAYS combined and best method shipping. If I can ship for less I will refund the difference to your PayPal. I do check different carriers for the best rate.
