Vintage Guardian 23 Pearce Simpson Tube CB Radio - Rare - USA Made. Condition is excellent, especially for its age. 1960's vintage tube type CB radio that is made in USA. The radio has been tested for power output (5+ watts) and receive. All channels are active. The radio is fairly clean and comes with the rare mobile bracket. The package includes the radio, AC power cord, original microphone and mobile bracket. The radio you see being tested is the actual radio being offered. Although... I have tested the radio, it is being sold "AS IS" and offered "for parts or not working". There are no returns, no refunds PLEASE!!! I have represented the radio as accurately as possible. I cannot foresee future issues as the radio is almost 60 years old. Please allow $39.95 to properly pack and ship the radio in the CONUS. No sales outside CONUS.On Jan-12-21 at 07:50:05 PST, seller added the following information:Thanks to the watcher who notified me that photos have a 2018 date stamp! So, I hooked up the radio again this morning and snapped a photo with a written date tag showing RF output into the wattmeter. All channels are working as of this mornings photo shoot. (see last photo). Full disclosure: I did notice some buzzing in the speaker with the squelch off and the volume down. Buzz is easily silenced by turning up the volume control and/or the squelch. Receive signals were heard no problem. Sounds like a weak cap not uncommon for a 50 year old radio. Thanks to all the watchers.
