You are looking at a Siebe Heinke hand held divers torch, datestamped 1964. Siebe Gorman & Co Ltdmerged with Heinke in the early 1960’s and changed the name to Siebe Heinke butreverted back some time later in the 1960’s. The torch is also stamped “SIEBE HEINK OF ENGLAND”, it has “AP NO0563/202927” and date stamped 1964. Thelanyard eye on the end of the torch has been stamped with the military crowsfoot, see the photo. The torch works OKit ta...kes 3 x D size batteries and the slide switch on the side of the torchworks OK. The chrome on the bulbreflector has some chrome missing and I have never had it underwater so I donot know if it is water tight. There issome damage to the chrome revealing brass to the right of the makers name, hopefully you will see this in the photographs it is approximately 1.5 cmsacross. I have added an extra photographof the entry for this torch in the Siebe Gorman catalogue from the 1960’s. The batteries will be removed for shipping, this will keep the weight down, buyer will need to buy 3 “D” size batteries ifthey wish to see it working but I have shown the lamp swithched on in theseries of photos. The torch measuresaround 27 cms long by approx 7 cms diameter (max) and is made from thick brass, the torch alone without packaging weighs around 1.7 kilos so this will bereflected in the shipping costs – SORRY.
