Rare White Star set of Deck Plans for the steamships Adriatic, Baltic, Celtic, Republic, Britannic and Germanic. Undated, but probably circa 1880.
There is a fascinating section on Winter Season crossings where it says: "The splendid record of the last four winters proves that the type of model, great size and immense power of these Steamships enable them to make their trips even in the roughest weather with unexampled regularity."
Overall in very good condition for the age.... Some chipping to the paper on the edges and corners, but no repairs or tears. Measures 11" x 8.25" when folded open.
