~~The Paragon (China Company) was a high quality British/English tea ware/tableware/dinnerware company that was founded in 1897. They specialized in bone china. They were also known as the Star China Company.
~~Another high end British company by the name of Aynsley, changed it's name (merged) with Paragon in 1919.
~~Paragon was acquired by the Royal Doulton group (fine porcelain/pottery made in the British factories of John Doulton ) in the 1960's (60's/60s/Sixties/Sixtys).
~~Lilac pattern with pale pink background with darker pink lilac flowers, bows and green leaves/greenery. Some of the photos make the background color looklighter than it actually is. The edges of the cup and saucer are scalloped with gold gilt/gilting around the edges. (Please note that some of the photos make thegold trim appear "wavy" or faded, but they are not-it is the result of lighting/camera flash).
~~The set is in very good to excellent vintage condition with no apparent chips, cracks, flakes, crazing, fading/discolored paint or repairs. Any uneven/faded/discoloration looks are due to the outdoor lighting or flash of my camera and are not flaws.
~~The cup measures 3 3/4" in diameter and the saucer/plate measures 5 1/2" in diameter.
