Rare figural perfume bottle in the form of Charlie Chaplin holding his bowler hat. 1920's - 30's.The bottle is made of glass and has been enamel painted to highlight a black tail suit, white shirt, black tie and red button lapel hole flower.Some small bits of the paint are missing on the side of his black hair and tiny bits in the skin colour of his face.His black moustache, eyebrows and painted eyelashes are quite distinctive.A gold coloured round metal base has a black Bakelite screw... cap underneath that screws into the bottle to hold the bottle upright.Measures approx 5" (13 cm) tall.
