Welcome to my auctions. Please remember my descriptions are of my opinion! I am happy to combine postage where possible, please just ask me for a posting quote.
This auction is for a late Victorian, c. 1900 original colour tinted photo of a sweat heart / lady protrait, in a celluloid fronted epns vesta case.
Opens and closes with a very good snap shut, and has a small ring on the top so you can hang from your watch chain.
The striker is on the bottom o...f the vesta case as shown in the third picture above.
The front of the vesta case has been nicely engraved , whereas the back is plain.
The vesta case measures approx. just under 5 cms x 3.5 cms with rounded corners.
In good overall condition, some slight wear and a 'ding' to the back as in the second picture above.
An original and extremely tactile piece, left in 'used' condition, and would certainly compliment and display well in any vesta matchsafe collection.
Please take a look at the pictures above for all detail, as well as looking at my other auctions.
UK postage is £4.50, recorded signed for post.
There is possibly cheaper post on ebay, but not signed for, and unfortunately items can go missing if there is not a signature required, thank you for your understanding.
For U.K. transactions goods sent either ‘Recorded’ delivery or Special’ delivery depending on the end value of the auction, so please wait at the end of the auctions for me to invoice you the correct amount for the postage.
