Just the way we picked it up at a local estate auction, have not tried to clean or alter it in any way. It does run however there is a flat spot/indentation on the rubber drive wheel, probably form sitting in the same position for a long period of time. Because of this spot it makes a thumping noise when running. If you want to actually use it then it will have to be taken apart and something done about this. Has a needle but can't say if it's still any good. No cracks, chips or repair...s.
