This listing is for a vintage Aria musical pocket lighter. This lighter was made in Japan around the mid 1960's to 70's, and is in good condition, but with noticeable wear. The lighter DOES PLAY as designed, which is whenever it is struck, but it can also be played by sliding the button that's by the winding key. It plays beautifully, and I have heard the tune many times, but I cannot remember the name, nor can I find it online. The lighter suffers from a few dings on the sides, but th...ere are none on the front or back panels. The gold toned finish does have quite a bit of surface wear, and a few "flea bite" sized chips, but the lighter looks much better in your hand than it does in these photos. Due to the lights in my photo booth, along with my phones high definition camera, the flaws are really highlighted. The key ornament is missing two of the three clear rhinestones, but luckily the one that is present is in the center, so it looks natural. The flint tube is clear, and with one inserted a nice spark is produced. This is a petrol lighter, and it has NOT been filled and tested. Thank you for looking.
