For sale is a 3" flow blue "Empire" butter pat that was made by John Maddock Pottery Company of England during the early 1900's.The pat has pretty cobalt grapevine clusters against a creamy white background. Gold gilt is present on the rim and some of the designs. The backside shows the pattern name, the makers mark some gold and cobalt.
The butter pat is in very good condition free of chips, cracks, hairlines or known restorations. There are typical signs of every...day use.
