Up for Auction - B & W Sound 16mm film entitled: 1959 Pro Football Review. It shows highlights of all 12 NFL teams. The is film was produced and distributed by Tel Ra Productions. I do not know who sponsored this film.
What is on This Film:
The film features the one key game of each of the 12 teams that were in the league that year. Many big plays featuring biggest stars of the NFL in 1959. The teams are: Chicago Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Washingt...on Redskins, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and NFL Champions the Baltimore Colts.
The Condition of This Film:
The film is about 950 to 100' feet long and ran cleanly through my projector. There are a few splices but mainly they are between segments of each team. My guess is this is where commercials could be added or were deleted. Surface scratches are minimal. There are no torn sprocket holes or smells. It is narrated by Jim Leaming and has excellent sound.
The overall condition of this film is good to very good. It will come with a nice metal can.
