1920's German mechanical singing bird boxmeasuring 7 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" long by 3" wide. The exterior isengraved with black enamel paint highlighting. The bird inside is decorated withhumming bird feathers, its wings move and it moves side to side and chirps andwhistles. These antique bird boxes are becoming increasingly harder to find.Comes with the original bird shaped key. I've seen this same automation without the cage and the bird on the perch sell for the same price. I've had th...is in my family since I was a child.
