From the days of motion picture's past, here is Douglas Leavitt and Russ Brown in "Pot Luck, " an Educational Pictures comedy musical from 1937. With Leavitt as a rich father trying to hide his wealth from tax assessor Brown, Leavitt's family just doesn't get it, and blows his cover amidst the singing and dancing. Durelle Alexander, Gail Baer, Stanley and Elaine, The Rhythm Boys, Norma Jean Walker, and Andy Anderson's Orchestra also star. Music lovers will be treated ...to an early rendition of "Cuban Pete" contained in the film. This original print from the 1940s has held up well, and still delivers sharp picture and sound. I see one minor splice during the opening, but it is barely noticeable. The rest is complete, with the print mounted on a 400' reel. The images posted are actual screenshots. No VS.
