a lovely large silver plate oil lampthe capital on the base is very beautifully engraved with an engraved plinth basethe centre is a smooth silver plate column all in lovely condition apart from a natural fault on the top , an oval piece of i would suspect plating missing this measures 19mm x 7 mm and is completely smooth the base of the column has some reeded design and just under the capital is swags and tassels the cut glass&nbs...p;font is perfect, some loss of plating to the font fitter which measures font width 16.4 cm and this has a silver plate bayonet collar stamped Messengersburner has a very unusual maybe Bakelite wick snuffer and key riser all working , Wick winders stamped Hinks no: 2height to the top of the capital 38.5cmfont fitter 21.5mm
