Antique Gunn oak barrister bookcase shelves - 5 matchingwith cast iron inserts on the sides. One shelf has a broken tip on the cast iron part just on one corner (see photo #8), but this doesn't affect the stability of the shelf when put together. All the rest of the shelves have complete iron parts.
Made of oak, which is rare for shelves (which also means they are a bit heavier than others - together they weigh 44 lbs unboxed). Most of the time, shelves are made of poplar, but these... are all oak.
Measure 34" long x 12" deep including the iron inserts.
In very good original vintage antique condition; ready to use with your bookcase.I also have several other antique oak Gunn barrister bookcase parts listed; they are compatible with these shelves. The other listings include 5 pairs of side panels (shown in last next to these 5 shelves), a bottom base part with one shelf, and a Gunn top. All are Gunn and the same dimensions so would work together.
I do not have any doors anymore; they all sold already.
