RARE Antique 19th C HAND WROUGHT IRON Brass Inlay SIGNED HEARTH FORK Folk Art- Nice Primitive Folk Art or Decorative Spatula or Peel or Peeler . It is most likely from Lancaster County Pennsylvania as most of of our utensils are. It is nicely crafted by a blacksmith during the early to mid 1800s - some unique features - such as the rare , unusual or unique Brass Inlaid Initials D. H.- ...very primitively done- not decorative like most seen. The fork measures 17.25" in length and one tine is slightly longer than the other as most of these antique forks are due to authentic use at the hearth. Many people have asked if the rack it is hanging on is included- IT IS NOT INCLUDED.
