This vintage Chinese festival red satin sequin beaded belt cheongsam top and palazzo pants dates from the 1940s. It is made of a red satin silk rayon blend fabric with a colorful metallic gold handsewn sequin beading done in flower design front and back with decorative trim edging designs. Th...is Chinese celebration ceremonial festival three piece outfit includes a short cheongsam qipao traditional dress style shirt top with a Mandarin collar, long full sleeves, fitted cuffs, white satin sequin beaded pankou knotted toggle trim closures along the front side and is unlined. The top measures 24 inches long, with a 34 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 22 inch long sleeve and a 14 inch neck. There are matching sequin beaded fabric palazzo pants with a wide pant leg cuff, elastic waistband and are unlined. The pants measure 35 inches long, with a 24 inch inseam, up to a 32 inch waist and 60 inch hips. Included is matching red fabric sequin beaded belt with hook closures on the back and measures 30 inches long, 3 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only some slight faint red color bleed discoloration on the white pankou toggle trim, a few loose missing sequins and slight musty odor from storage. This is truly a wonderful piece of custom made Chinese wearable art!
