I'm very pleased to present for sale this very handsome traditional American solid mahogany double size four poster bed frame with matching solid wood side rails in very good condition. While there are no makers marks per se, there are a few block lettered stamps that make it appear to be made in the United States, likely between 1950 and 1970. It comes from an estate featuring some beautiful high-end vintage and antique New England furniture and décor, and appears... to be made in quality and fashion similar to other New England furniture makers.
The frame was well maintained, and remains in excellent structural and very good cosmetic condition, with some scratches and dings indicative of normal age and use, but nothing egregious.
