The Most Excellent Order of the British EmpireMedal.  Comes with its Original RoyalMint Case, to the outside of the case block lettering in gold MBE on blackleatherette finishing.  To the insidecream silk padded roof and cream velvet base. The MBE Medal is made of Solid Sterling Silver, to the front we see theconjoined bust of George VI and Queen and royal cipher to reverse.  comes with its original water fleckribbon.  Civilian Medal Period: GeorgeVI Maker:   Royal Mint Size of medal including ribbon: 105mm x widest part of medal 49mm   Condition: lightsurface marks consistent with age and genuine use.
