Mid Century Tropical Sun Rattan Ottoman Footstool Red Vinyl Orig Tags 15 "

This mid century rattan footstool or ottoman was made by the famous Tropical Sun company in Pasadena, California.
The original tags are still attached under the seat.
It's in excellent condition with original red vinyl seat, all original wrapping, one strand of wrapping that's had a narrow strip torn off, minor scuffs on legs, minor marks on vinyl, tear at seam (no vinyl missing).
In case you're wondering, there's no indication that this was once a high bar stool that wa...s cut down. It doesn't appear that Tropical Sun made any bar stools with an upper ring and a lower foot-rest ring, and the underside of the legs and the glides are well aged.
Very strong.
15" high and 12" diameter.
Weighs 8 lbs.
The last pic is closest to the color of red. The flash makes the other pics look brighter than it is. The color reminds of booths in restaurants I grew up going to in LA in the 50s.

FedEx tracking is abysmal since covid - it just says 'shipping label created' until day of delivery or a day or so before. And because shipments are taking longer than usual, they no longer offer their money-back guarantee.
All this is frustrating to me as a buyer and must be to you, too. I try to avoid shipping FedEx because of these issues, but for heavy/large items it's the only option. Despite these drawbacks I haven't had any lost or damaged items through them for a few years, so that's a plus.
What I'm finding is that the estimated delivery date on eBay is 2-3 days prior to actual delivery. Hope that helps relieve any anxiety you may have. Feel free to contact me if your FedEx shipment hasn't arrived 3 days after the eBay estimated delivery date.
