~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~Wonderful antique linen French ticking dating c1850 ~ piece was once a mattress cover and dates c1850, This ticking has been freshly laundered, however there are marks and stains on this piece including little paint splotches! This piece is a dramatic piece, ideal for rustic timeworn interiors only, or lovely for cutting projects. There are beautifully hand stitched darns on the body of this piece, and it would be wonderful to use these ...as an accent for primitive projects! Or, lovely used as a large intact length for primitive, period interiors! There are small holes throughout the body of this piece, so if one were using it for window treatments, I would recommend backing it ~*~ I This fabric is a woven stripe, linen and cotton mix ~ the stripes are red and off-white with a lovely sand natural ground ~ this fabric is a heavy weight, herringbone weave ~ rustic, and wonderful, but not right for anyone that requires a large good condition piece ~*~ ~ ( TICKING 66H) MEASUREMENTS : This piece is lovely and measures 40 inches by 79 inches ~~*~ ~*~*
