Wood cabinets could use a nice cleanup, but I opted to not do that and allow the purchaser to clean up but I think they'll be very nice. Chrome grills have some dings in them but otherwise in pretty decent shape one speaker is missing the pioneer badging. I attempted to remove the grill to check out the condition of the woofer but I was afraid I would damage the grill because it did not come off easily. I hooked the speakers up to some music and played back with the bass and treble tur...ned up and there was no distortion. While I don't think they sound as good as modern speakers they were pretty clear and responsive. I can attempt to remove the grills for a serious buyer but I really don't want to damage them.
