20 antique quilt blocks. All are off-white with various designs on blue fabrics. All are hand sewn; very tiny and uniform stitches. Each quilt block measures approximately 13 1/4" x 13 1/4".
9 have been signed and the name of the maker has been hand embroidered into the center block. 2 have been dated 1907. 1 is dated 1908. 2 have the city name of Hooker, Oklahoma. 1 is from Castile, New York.
8 other blocks have the ma...ker's name penciled in on the center block, but these have not yet been embroidered. Of these, 2 contain a 1907 date, and 1 has a 1908 date. 2 are from Dalton, New York. 1 is from Castile, New York, and other is from Portageville, New York.
The remaining 3 quilt blocks do not have a name, date or location.
In overall very good condition. A few storage spots on a few of these; see photos. I have not tried to remove these. Just purchased from an old local estate, this is offered in 'as found' condition. No holes or worn areas.
