This is a 1940's Vintage GENERAL ELECTRIC "Vortalex" Oscillating, Catalog No. FM10V21, 2-Speed Electric Fan. It is ~16" high x 12 1/4" diameter cage x 7 1/2" across the base. It has "Vortalex" on the Bakelite Center of the Fan Hub. The Cage Center has the Brass "General GE Electric" Name Plate.
It Runs and Operates Fine and Tilts and Locks in Position with the Wingnut. It has Some Rust on the Lower Part of the Base and the Bottom Felt Could Use Replacing. It Could Use a L...ittle Clean but is a Nice Fan for Restoration.
