Up for bid we have a Large 19" Vintage Hand Forged Robert Marek Custom made Bowie, Fighting Knife .Knife measures 19" long with a 14" blade, comes with a full tang and is nice and tight, the blade has the Marek style patina. Well Made Robert Marek Knife in Excellent Vintage Condition.
This is one of a few Robert Marek knives which I'll be listing in the next few weeks as I purchased a small collection from a friend who purchased a number of lots at the original auction.
Mi...chaan’s began auctioning off the collection in September 2016. A handful of pieces sold for more than $10, 000, suggesting Tom Marek’s inheritance could be worth $250, 000 or more.Robert Marek who passed away in 2015 was featured in the TV show Strange Inheritances. His collection of over 5, 000 hatchets, swords, knives, pikes, maces and spears was sold at Michann's auctions in Alameda, Calif.Below is a picture of a wall at the Marek house.
