Antique 19th C Textile Metallic Thread Embroidered Silk, Velvet Altar Fabric.
There is Arabic or Cyrillic writing incorporated into the boarder design.This textile is in good condition . Some of the border hem is separating and needs to be sewn down .There is hand embroidery chain stitching throughout.All silk ! Measures 47.5”x 43” without the 3” metal fringe .The green velvet does have some staining .This has been in storage for many years . It is not fresh smelling but had ...no bad OdorVary rare that this exists in this condition ..
