Stunning length of antique French 19thc silk brocade/jacquard fabric. Beautiful floral cameo cartouche accented with a lovely herringbone type ground pattern.I would consider it a mid to slightly larger scale.The hues are in the plum/lavender and pink tones and will somewhat overall vary on this lovely length. Some areas deeper, some a bit paler so will have the most perfect faded grandeur belle opoche nuance in projects. I tried to capture this in my photos but was difficult to c...apture fully. Even in lieu of the hue variations and nuances, the flow of tones is incredibly beautiful. The piece itself is quite amazing and the silk seems well preserved which is difficult to find in earlier silk textiles.A gorgeous textile for pillow making, window elements and an abundance of interiors projects as well as clothing elements, bags and decorative period upholstery pieces, artisan projects etc..A lovely piece for framing as well.**Measures 23" wide by 29-30" long ~ I can keep your length selected uncut. So for example, a quantity of "2" selected would be 23" wide by 58-60" long etc..
