Antique Fine Silk Ribbon 3" width x 50" length. Georgian or early Victorian? This fine silk ribbon has been used I think - possibly for a sash - but the delicate mauve / pink colour is remarkably even along the length.I am no expert but think it is of regency Georgian age and of French origin as the colour is of that period and very similar to a piece of French moleskin velvet from the early 1800s which I previously owned. Please examine the photos to make your own judgment....
