Of note on this sash:
Oval Eagle rank pin. Probably sterling & commonly valued at over $100 on its own.The Camp badges, y...ellow felt ones, look like WWII era & are very rare. For local people these are impossible to find. On the sash he has a "Sand-twill Star Rank patch". These were issued only during WWII & are distinctive because of their sand like color (lack of green dye because of the War) & are very collectible.
