1947 Boy Scouts 6th World Jamboree Vintage Scrapbook Moisson France

Up for sale is a vintage 1947 scrapbook put together by an Independence, Missouri scout who attended the 6th World Jamboree in Moisson, France. The scrapbook measures approximately 15" X 12" and includes letters, maps, booklets, ID, etc. The scrapbook has a wooden cover that has become detached, and the interior pages are quite age-toned (tanned/brown) as you can see from my photos. Aside from the roster and 7" X 9" photo shown in the final image, nearly all of the it...ems are attached to the interior pages with either glue or tape, and thus they will be very difficult--if not impossible--to cleanly remove from the pages, particularly the items that have been glued. In some cases, the old tape has either failed or is in the process of failing, but it has turned quite brown and so the items will still have stains on them. All in all, the ephemera is fairly well-preserved if you can live with these aforementioned issues. There are more pages in the scrapbook than what I've included here, but these are the most interesting pages. There are some additional newspaper articles, postcards, and random items that are more like the 11th photo and thus not related to the World Jamboree.
