Original Description:
Heavy duty iron ice tongs kitchen primitive from the early 20th century. The ice tongs are marked IIW and a detail of this is shown in the last photo. The tongs are  11 1/2 inches long. When the tongs are closed, the width measures 8 inches, when open it measures 14 1/8 in width. The handles measure 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high. The ice tongs are fully functional and are in very good condition. They have been given a coat of linseed oil to help keep rust from recurring....
