Up for consideration is a lovely antique Georgian mourning ring. It features a central hair locket outlined with black enamel. The shoulders are done in the traditional Geogian trident style. The back of the ring is inscribed "Robert Moore, Obt August 1827, Obt 42 Years". According to the hallmarks, the ring was assayed in London in 1824. The gold purity mark is lot legible, but the ring has tested as at least 15K. It is in very good condition with what looks like a re-sized area... with a visible small dark spot. It is size 7.25 and can be carefully resized by an experienced jeweler. The ring will be sent in an antique presentation box. All rings are sent Priority Mail with full insurance and Signature Confirmation. Measurements:Size: 7.25 Width: 11mm Length: 13mm Rise: 2mm Weight: 3 grams Photos have been enlarged to show detail.
