Note in Pic 1 on the right hand side of the dial, facing the radio, there is a "round" place. This is a hole that was created when the plastic dial shrunk (plastics in those years did that) and broke through the plastic. (The left side remained in place.) After trying various remedies, gave up and put a couple of dabs of glue to hold it in place. A reproduction dial is available from Radio Daze (perhaps others?) for about $20.
Pic 4 shows a attempt to fashion a int...ernal antenna (believe it had one originally) which doesn't really work. But, the radio has been restored and it plays great with a external antenna. The stations do not line up with the dial that well, primarily because of the plastic dial shrinkage but could also be caused by the "coil tuner" which I may not have enough familiarity with to tune properly.
The case is in excellent condition; no chips, dings, etc. Quite small for a Five tube set.
